Match report Lots of rain for the previous two days and a drying pitch meant that when Pete won the toss he decided to insert the opposition.

Turned out more than well when the wickets started to tumble. Harry's first over was a horror and lots of short pitched deliveries got what they deserved, but pitching up first ball of his 2nd over did the trick getting his first wicket and it was all downhill for Boxmoor from there. A number of them insisted on driving hard at anything pitched up and on that pitch it was never going to work. Mike Stone at mid off was peppered with chances, nearly pulled off a blinder for the first, comfortably took 2 others and another couple we'll generously ignore.....

George Carter at the other end was simply beating them all ends up, got 1 wicket but deserved more.

Matt and OC tidied up the rather long tail and they were all out for 56.

Pete and Dave comfortably and patiently knocked off the target for a 3.30pm finish, tea after the game (a weird experience) and lots of drinks to follow while watching the 1s win comfortably, too - only 1 wicket lost between the two teams.
