Senior Saturday Cricket
 

Saturday cricket at Berkhamsted is popular with players of all abilities. Our 4 Saturday teams play in the Saracens Hertfordshire League. Our 1st and 2nd XIs play in upper divisions, while our other teams play in the regional divisions where travelling time is usually less than 30 minutes to away games.

Sunday cricket tends to be a mixture of friendly games and T20 matches, mostly home games wherever possible.

Our T20 team play in a cup competition making the finals day in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 seasons. Games are a mixture of Fridays or Sundays and tend to be good social events!

We have an active social programme of quizzes, guest speakers and barbeques throughout the season.  Our end of season awards evening is always a highlight of the summer.

We have a proactive strategy to encourage young cricketers to play at a high standard and our First XI regularly contains 5 players under 18. 

All players train together on Tuesday evenings in the summer and as well as a winter programme of indoor nets. Our Head Coach, James Bell, is supported in the summer and winter by a number of ECB Level 2/3 coaches.
