Match report Excellent team performance. Mark lost the toss and Redbourn decided to bowl with 6 bowlers all under 18. The wind was gusting strongly so bowling wasn't easy. Great opening partnership of 95 between Alan and Jacob in 17 overs set a platform. Brownie hit 4 of his first 5 balls for 4 and accelerated to a 50 within 5 overs and Amour, George and Finn continued the free scoring taking us to our largest total of the season - and possibly the 3s biggest total for quite a few years. It poured down at tea but stopped when we came out - Charlie and Matt opened up and both bowled well, making early inroads. Jess initially struggled with line and length bit came back strongly with 3 wickets, Hannah settled into a very nice rhythm, bowling beautifully and thoroughly deserved her 2 wickets. Hannah also grabbed 2 catches. The skipper suffered terrible hubris when dropping an easy catch shortly after shouting "standards". We even had time for a cameo over from Alan who of course picked up a wicket and now thinks he is an all rounder. George kept well and took a nice one handed catch to wrap up proceedings.
