Match report We had a bit of trouble finding which pitch we were playing on, with lack of markings and grass a bit long, but that established with flags put out, we won the toss and opted to bat.

OAs bowled well to a slow outfield, with fielders posted for boundary saving and set smartly for where shots tended to go and there was a struggle to get a score going. Rupert and Jacob batted well after the early loss of Dave and ticked it along building a score but we could never get any faster.

Later we sent in thse who could hit a bit more and with some blows and hard running we built a score of 157.

Should be enough if we bowled well but the truth was we didn't. We set a hard hitting opener going and he set about the bowling to hit boundaries freely, in total contrast to our innings. It was out of sight pretty soon. A number of catches went down, but most were tough to take. OA cruised home with only 2 wickets down.

We worked hard batting and fielding but in the end a smart opposition deserved the spoils.
