Match report The toss was won and Frogmore inserted to try to keep the wins going and keep the top side under pressure.

The 4 pace bowlers of Callum, Oli, Joe and Will showed how quality bowling is done and the batters couldn't cope on the whole, with the exception of skipper Albon who showed the others how it is done by taking chances on quick singles to transfer the pressure back to us the best he could. But once he was out the scoring stalled and they reached 153 in their 42 overs. Callum ended with a deserved 4 wickets.

In return, Pete and Dave kicked off with a 50+ partnership with the bowlers struggling on our slope in their first visit to the club. Dave was unlucky to pick out mid-wicket with an aggressive shot and Nick took over to biff quickly and break the back of the target.

Once out it was a formality and not having a comedy moment to remember if by was sorted out by the skipper running himself out for 54 hitting straight to the fielder and trying for the winning run. Who needs a decent average anyway? It's overrated.
