Match report The Saturday 2s played out a comprehensive win against a fragile Leverstock Green side.

The skipper won the toss and elected to bowl first on a wicket which had been covered and was quite hard.

John Ezard and Bart Smith opened the bowling and bowled with great control. Jon finished with six wickets and Bart, who bowled 11 overs for only three runs, also collected a further two wickets.

Ben Beard and Ian Sudbery also contributed a wicket each, but most pleasing was the fact that we held all 7 of our chances in a fantastic team fielding effort.

Leverstock Greens total of 68 all out was comprehensively achieved in 11 overs for the loss of one wicket leaving us with an early finish and an excellent nine wicket victory.

Next week we are travelling yet again, this time to Bayford and Hertford.
