Match report A lovely day.

Skip won toss and we're bowling again. A flat track so looking likely to be a slog in the field. Everyone stuck to task. Pick of the bowling was Messers Hunter and Sudberry. Everyone else chipped in admirably.

Couple of dubious moments involving catches behind. Skips view is that players should walk and not expect their co-players to have to give them out. Not a good example.

Tea was good, particularly for the bowlers not having to bat

The hardest decision of the day for skip was the batting line up. Blind optimism or inspired captaincy - whichever, Beard and Williams put on 140 for the first wicket and the games was in the bag. They both got to their 50s before departing. Adam and Phil brought us home.

Very good win and up to third in the league.
