Match report Rain the day before lead to a damp pitch at the start and it was with trepidation that the skipper went to toss up with a good forecast for drying the pitch later.

Fortune meant that we got to bowl first and Jack Hunter and Andy Blood went to work on a soft and stopping pitch. The Broxbourne openers struggled and Jack and Andy took the first 4 wickets to fall between them to leave Broxbourne in trouble.

Andre and James Westley took top catches in the slip cordoen for Andy's two in his last over

The spin twins of Sibley and Slater took over and excellent catching continued with 8 catches in all as Jamie Slater spun his web and the Broxbourne batting subsided completely. A haul of 6-17 off 7.5 overs did not flatter Jamie at all.

In reply, chasing a very low target of 73 to win on a by now dry pitch, Peter and Andre ticked away the runs when the bad balls were on offer and cruised home for the loss of no wickets with only 19.3 overs gone.

A really good performance in the field which set up an easy win.
