Berkhamsted Cricket Club Won by 15 runs

Match report A late withdrawal meant we went into the game with local rivals Tring with only 10 men. Once again we lost the toss and were asked to bat. Logan (13) and Jandre (31 ret) got us off to a good start.
Jandre only gave up on his revision at short notice and was rewarded with his first 30 for the team. George(22) then proceeded to see how many balls he could lose, hitting 2 huge 6s before being caught on the boundary. Dan (23no) and Callum (6no) kept the scoreboard ticking over and we finished on a decent 112 for 3.

The Tring reply started steadily, Eddie removed the leg stump of their opener which saw Zoe(31 ret) stride to the wicket and Tring put together a good partnership. Dan took a wicket to slow the Tring momentum and then took another wicket. Max then chipped in with a wicket as Tring fell well behind the run rate and finished on 97 for 4.

Well done to the boys on our first win of the season, there was a good spirit and some good banter between the 2 teams.
