Match report A sunny day, perfect for cricket,saw the return to form of the 1sts. The 1s score gives the illusion of a faster wicket than the players encountered. All those who batted gave their all on a very slow wicket and the openers scores in particular reflect this, both deserved higher scores for their time in the middle. As has become customary Stu led by example with his exceptional strike rate of 233.33.

The bowlers worked hard but did not quite manage to finish the job, as Flitwick set in to defend the draw from 17 overs out. It was good to see Huw and Ben bowl and Dave Smith add to his new found wicket keeping skills by turning his arm for a couple of overs. Excellent performances as usual from the senior bowlers with Janners narrowly missing a hat trick.
