Match report Well another win, but we made hard work of it and my hair is turning greyer by the minute. We were asked to bat again and found ourselves in the unfamiliar position of being 3 wickets down very early. However a good partnership of 46 between Eddie(24) and Dan(15) and some good late hitting from Ed (11no) saw us post a respectable 87 for 5.

From the start our bowling and fielding was not at it's best (a long and busy school term must have taken its toll om the boys) saw Abbots reach 39 without loss. The introduction of Dan's spin got the breakthrough and after that wickets fell steadily and we were able to restrict Abbots to 78 for 6 and win by 9 runs. Dan was the pick of the bowlers bowling 3 overs for 3 runs and 2 wickets, including a stumping (good work Ben). Eddie and Ed took 1 wicket each and there were 2 run outs.

Apologies to those boys who didn't get a bat or bowl tonight but that makes 5 wins from 6 games a great effort from all the boys and they are all an integral part of the team.
