Berkhamsted Cricket Club Won BCC won by 32 runs

Match report Well we bounced back from last weeks defeat in grand style beating Boxmoor by 32 runs. On an evening more befitting cricket ( I could get the shorts out at last) we were put into bat by Boxmoor. Despite losing Matt early Ben M batted very sensibly for a sound 16, George (7) and Logan (9) made a good contribution and Dan top scored with a controlled 23. This enabled us to finish on a healthy 89 for 8. ( the running between the wickets was much improved).

Our bowling was excellent throughout making it very difficult for the Boxmoor Batsmen. The pick of the bowlers were Max whose 4 overs only 6 runs and 2 wickets and Logan whose 1 over claimed 2 wickets for only 1 run.There were also wickets for Ed H, george, Matt and Dan as Boxmoor were restricted to 57 for 8 from their 20 overs. Well to all the boys, a great team performance
