Pitch Perfect Returns

Pitch Perfect, the annual fundraising concert now in its third year will be returning to Berkhamsted CC on the 29th June 2014. This year the theme is “From Broadway to Berkhamsted, a night of stage and screen”.

Our headline act is the fabulous Patriot Girls. Known for the wonderful harmonies they will be leading the audience through a series of classic show songs. The girls have sang all these songs on the West End stage in their various roles headlining in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Les Miserables, Starlight Express and many others.

Joining the cast will be Alex Bourne who is currently touring in “Chicago” having featured previously in Grease, Kiss Me Kate and We will rock you.

Our compere is Adrian Scarborough who will be rushing from his day job in King Lear at the Old Vic.

The music will be provided a wonderful band made of local professionals and willing and talented youngsters. Our new “rising star” is Sarah Munro who will be playing some of her own compositions.

All of this talent will be available in the glorious surroundings of Berkhamsted Cricket Club. Overlooked by rolling hills and farm lands, the event promises to offer a wonderful afternoon of sitting in the sun with a large glass listening to West End talent performing in our own perfect pitch.

Doors open at 3pm with the music starting at 4pm and the main show starting at 5.00.

It will be finished by 9.00pm as in the optimistic chance of England winning their World Cup group, they will be playing then.

Food and drinks are available and all you and your guests are required to do is bring a favourite chair and relax.

Parking is available on the ground but on a limited basis. The ground is about 5 minutes walk from Berkhamsted Station and is easily found on Castle Hill Avenue.
