Berkhamsted Cricket Club Lost Harpenden won by 8 wickets

Match report With a make shift team of only one first choice 11 aside player, 7 of our 8 aside squad and 3 under 10 players we arrived at Hardenden expecting to struggle. The boys however were a credit. Peter as the senior player played sensibly and held up his end as Ted hit 2 4’s and top scored with 11 runs. Our middle order collapsed as Hardenden took 5 wickets in 4 overs for 1 run before Alexander came to the crease and score 10 runs including 2 4’s, which gave us a respectable score 68 runs.

Harry was the best of our bowlers taking two wickets in one over. This brought Billy Giovanni and Daniel Bradley to the crease. Daniel Bradley scoring 28 runs including 6, 4’s and Billy scoring 2 4’s in his total of 12. Harpenden won comfortably by 8 wickets

The boys gained a lot of confidence and will benefit next year by having played in an 11 aside match.
