Match report With only 8 men at the start of the game and 3 kit bags in Brays car it was most fortunate to win the toss (cheers Janners) and being able to bowl first!

Having played a 6 side over bank holiday a few of us were in good nick! This showed and after 2 overs Eversholt were 0-2 with Janners taking a wicket with the first ball of the day!

Soon after Hammo and Gareth PJ Turned up sadly Hammo the local villager was fielding in tracksuit bottoms! Then another 45 wicketless minutes Bray turned up with the kit and bowling boots for fish and Janners. With bray not being able to bowl for another 45 it was left to Fish and Tom Baker on debut to try and break through, With eversholt Looking well set at 100-2 Tom and fish both took a wicket and soon a mini collapse was to happen fish and Janners both took another thanks to some stunning catching by Gareth at short extra. With MacMillan stricking the ball well Eversholt went to 187 all out with Janners Burgling another 5 wickets 5-51 and Fish 19-9-47-2 taking the bowling honours.

With Bray not being used with the ball he was in at number 3 and after Gareth was dubiously given out caught after we were 20-1 then 53-3 after Hammo ran himself out and Fish getting the “ball of the century!” to bowl him we looked in a spot of bother until Bray 87* (ugly) and Yule 60* (old school and attractive) blitzed 134 in only 20 overs to give Us 30 points and with Reed only drawing it gigves us the League winners spot!
