Match report Another fine batting performance from Berko, amassing 163 with substantial contributions from Sam (50 not out), Charlie (53 not out), Christian (31) and wides (16). This was always going to be a stretching target for a weakened Abbotts side (featuring one 12-year-old who turned out to be one of their best players taking 1-25 from his four overs and one 7-year-old who turned out to be extremely enthusiastic and effective in the field) and when the usually prolific Longworth was bowled by TP for 7 the game was well and truly up. Tomas went on to take 4-17 and the bowling generally was much more accurate than the previous week though still a little too short at times; the spirit, demeanour, energy and technical skills displayed by Berko in the field were to a high standard.
