Match report Our run of good results came to a crashing end with a defeat at Watford Town. Batting first, we really struggled to score runs on a very difficult pitch with variable bounce. Like the previous week Andy & Josh got us off to a decent start with a steady 63 partnership but after they went none of our other batters were able to build any momentum and we stuttered our way to 122 off the full 47 overs which against the league leaders was never likely to be enough. And so it proved, Watford cruising to a 7 wicket win with 13 overs to spare. David picked up 2 wickets in an over to give us a sniff of a chance but we didn't take the 3rd wicket until the score was on 97 which was a little too late. We remain second from bottom of the league with 4 games to go.
