Match report Our 3s are not having much trouble in compiling decent totals and on a sunny bright day at BCC we racked up a decent 252 off our allocated 45 overs. After a steady start by Phil & Mike, the star of the show was Ian Putman who batted through the rest of the innings for 82 not out featuring 4 sixes. Puds was ably supported by skipper Tim and John and we went in for tea thinking that a win was on the cards.

Sadly after tea our bowling disappeared to all corners of the field (and parts of the adjoining field) as the opposition batsmen enjoyed themselves, their no 5 smashing it everywhere for a quickfire century which took them to a comfortable 6 wicket win with 5 overs to spare.

At least over a pint afterwards we had the consolation that our batting display had brought us maximum batting bonus points and 14 overall for the match. PS - whoever did the scoring needs to take a refresher maths course!!
