Match report Sunny Bovingdon. Pretty location, no sight screens.

Skip won toss again (100%) and we were bowling a soft damp wicket. All things considered it played well.

A good all round effort in the field. Catches were caught and the ground fielding was good - a few too many singles perhaps. Bowling was good although too many 4 balls an a Bovingdon total which was 30 to 40 more than it should have been.

The yougsters started off and played very well. Put on 55 but we were always behind the run rate. Realistically someone from the top 5 had to score 50+ to win the game. Last 10 overs two of our other yougsters batted well to see the game out.

All round we played well, just a few too many runs to chase down on these early season wickets.
