Match report The Sunday Intrepids sadly lost their first match this season, mainly due to a 'Berko Collapse'.

Skipper Guy finally won the toss on his 6th attempt and elected to bat, despite losing Tony early, James and Ed batter superbly with support from will after Ed was unlucky to lose his off bail. from 104-2 at drinks, wickets began to fall regularly mainly to poor shots despite a brave knock from James Parry who hit 59, thus the run rate fell, and although Amish hung around, we could only muster a well below par score of 157-8.

After a lovely tea, the skipper decided to go all out guns blazing with a very attacking field and opened with the dual spin kings of Amish and Jamie. the openers got to 40 odd despite 3 drops, then Jamie bowled a beauty and wickets began to fall regularly, and when the oppo captain fell we were in with a great chance with there score at 110-6. Sadly, despite a great catch by Jake we just did not have enough runs and the oppo won with a straight 6 to win an enjoyable game by 3 wickets, well bowled Jamie and Amish, and man of the match James Parry with his escellent 59.
