Match report It was hot, dry, 3 short boundaries and a good batting track.

Toss was duly won and the winning formula continued. We bowled first.

Jack continued where he left off the previous week. Good lines and length and a couple of wickets bagged. Will from t'other end was sharp and tight. The spinners then bowled and contained through the middle of the overs - Mikey takes the glory with his 5 wickets which included all of the Oppos high scorers. Will returned and bowled tightly and deserved his two wickets.

The fielders stuck at it in the heat, however a number of dropped catches took the shine of a very good effort.

Good tea was had alongside the children's birthday party.

Mikey took the plaudits for his 63. Jamie was steady and kept us in it. Overall a good effort but 'us bowlers' are always amazed at how often good batman get themselves out!

Pirton next week (bottom I believe) followed the following week by the 'top of the table' clash with Broxbourne III.
