Match report The rain stayed away long enough for Berkhamsted and Harpenden to play out a low scoring but enthralling game that could have gone either way.

Having taken a battering from the weather, the pitch was soft and unpredictable and Berko's batsmen struggled to find any rhythm after being put in by the visitors.
Great bowling from Allen and Randall in particular, and some fine fielding restricted the hosts to 68-9 off 20 overs. Storey top scored for Berko with 22 including a massive pull for six but it was the fielding team that dominated to put themselves in a commanding position.

But despite the modest target, Harpenden too struggled to score runs, and when Van Vlymen took three quick wickets, Berko sensed an unlikely win. But sensible batting from Voight (20) and Stewart (25 no) calmed any nerves and despite a tidy spell from Slater and some good catches from Ladipo, Storey and Lewis, Harpenden held on to win by 3 wickets and progress to the semi finals. Congratulations to them.
