Match report We were comprehensively outplayed by Watford in this match on a warm evening. Our boys didnt bowl badly at all - perhaps a few too many wides - but Watfords batters were on top form and racked up an impressive 111. We only managed to get one wicket and that was a run out and a big area of improvement for the boys would be to encourage and support each other rather than passing critical comment on mistakes.

Our batting could not have got off to a worse start - 3 wickets in the second over effectively finishing the contest. It was clear our boys didnt have the techique or power to score easily against decent Watford bowling and it was telling that out of a total score of 32 wides top scored with 8. We need to spend a lot of time working on our batting in training if we are to be competitive even at B team standard.
