Berkhamsted Cricket Club Won BCC won by 51 runs

Match report BCC produced an all round performance to post their second win of the season. However Langleybury put BCC under some pressure at the start as, after putting BBC in, took 3 early wickets to have the home side at 20 for 3. Fortunately some patient batting by new comer Kian (31no) and some good support from the middle order Toby(11), Tomas(10), Tom(16no) and Josh(9no) enabled BCC to post a total of 132 for 5.
With a reasonable total to defend, the BCC bowlers started well with some very tight overs from Jake and Jack which prevented Langleybury from getting into their stride. However Ben and Eric both proved difficult to dislodge and together put on a partnership of 59 before Eric fell to a sharp delivery from Jake. Energetic fielding (previously lacking) was in abundance with quick pick ups and throws resulting in two run outs courtesy of Toby and Tomas.

Great to see all the boys looking like they were enjoying their cricket and thanks to Langleybury for a spirited effort and the unprompted three cheers at the end.
