Match report A rather dissappointing effort last night with the boys not firing on all cylinders. We won the toss and elected to bat, unfortunately we made a pedestrian start and after 7 overs only had 16 runs on the board (Tring were on 45 after their 7 overs). Jandre made a steady 17 and George 21 and Ed 21 did up the rate. Dan (11no) and Eddie (10no) saw us reach a respectable 91 for 4 at the end of our overs.

Aided by some wayward opening bowling Tring made a rapid start. Some tight bowling from Max (4-1-11-2) and Dan (4-1-11-2)
and with George chipping in with 2 wickets we did give ourselfs a chance of an unlikely win , but the Tring batsmen did enough to see them home in the penultimate over.
As we thought we didn't put quite enough runs on the board and are still giving the opposition to many free runs (19 extras again including 10 wides). We are in a tight league this year with all the games going down to the wire and proving very tense and exciting.
