Match report We began the new season on a bright sunny evening away at Hemel. We won the toss and decided to bat . Ben (18) and Jandre(9) got us off to a sound start, then a flurry of wickets saw us stuttering on 36 for 4 . A great 50 partnership between Dan (23no) and Logan (23no) saw us post a respectable 86 for 4 at the end of our 20 overs.
Ed (3-1-9-2) and Eddie(4-0-18-1) opened in great style and supported by Max(2-0-12-1) we had Hemel struggling on 19 for 4 . However, a great partnership , some indifferent bowling and sloppy fielding saw the hemel middle order knock off the runs with 1 over to spare
It was a good effort from the boys who were understandably a little rusty. Our fielding was well below par and we will look to improve this over the next few games.
