Match report A disappointing defeat for the 4ths on a beautiful sunny day on a picturesque ground only slightly marred by the constant rumble of traffic from the nearby M25. We won the toss and batted first taking maximum batting points. The foundations were laid by Gareth and Julian but the acceleration came from Ollie Campbell with an excellent half century supported well by Guy, Peps and in particular Jack Furlong who played some nice shots in his 21.

Sadly our bowling and fielding was not good - 7 catches went down and we were a fielder short after Martin turned green and retired (very) sick. Luckily our long lost skipper appeared on the boundary egdge in his shorts and came on to help the cause. However, despite reducing the oppostion to 150 for 6 (3 wickets for Ollie Buchanan) the 7th wicket pair saw the opposition home with an over to spare.
