Match report A remarkable game, with both teams doing their best to lose! Chorleywood got off to a very slow start, scoring just 26 off the first 10 overs with Josh Roberts taking 2 for 5 off 4 overs. Then our fielding and bowling went a bit awry and Chorleywood pushed towards 3 figures. Then Jacob Lewarne struck 4 times in 2 overs thanks to a hat-trick of catches by Jonathan Harvey, the third was a stunner.

We were left needing 101 to win but after a steady start collapsed to 28-6 off 9 overs through a series of awful shots. The game looked lost and we still needed 42 to win with 3 overs to go but then George Parker supported by Calum Miles almost pulled it off with some terrific shots and great running between the wickets. We needed 4 off the last ball to win but with all the fielders on the boundary George could only manage a 2 leaving us just short of the target.
