Match report Not our most fluent batting performance but a win against Tring is always of high value. We batted first, but the lads didnt seem to have their timing in place - they all got a start but none went on to play a big innings. James Sidwells bat sounded awful and then disintegrated and only Calum Miles with an excellent 21 not out looked confident against Trings accurate bowling attack.

We knew with just 106 we would have to bowl well. Fortunately that was the case and Josh Roberts, Jonny Harvey, James Sidwell and Ethan Mackie all bowled accurate spells to leave Tring just 34 off 10 overs, Ethan getting steep bounce from the pitch. Despite a couple of big sixes Tring were always struggling to make the target and they needed 15 off the last over only making 10 to leave Berko the winners by 5 runs. Maximum points so far but our batting will need to improve as the season progresses.
