Match report Unfortunately, we suffered our first defeat last night. With half the team away on a school reidential we welcomed Seb , Ben St and Jake into the team ( cheers Boys). We were put into bat on another 'cold' evening and started poorly losing 3 wickets cheaply including a disastrous run out involving the 2 Ed's.A fine partnership of 35 between Jake (18no) and Dan (12) steadied the ship and we finished our overs 0n 60 for 5.

With only a small total to defend it was important to bowl and field well. We bowled very economically , but errors in the field cost us some priceless runs( although by this stage some of the boys were very cold,it may be time to invest in a cricket jumper, that's sure to make the sun come out!!).Pick of the bowlers were Eddie D , who bowled with good pace and finished with figures of 2 wickets for 13 runs from 4 overs and Dan who bamboozled the batsman with his wrist spin for figures of 2 wickets for 7 runs from his 3 overs ( including 2 maidens). However Tring got the required runs in the 15th over for the loss of only 4 wickets.
