Senior Saturday Cricket
 

Saturday cricket at Berkhamsted is popular with players of all abilities. Our 4 Saturday teams play in the Saracens Hertfordshire League. Our 1st and 2nd XIs play in upper divisions, while the 3s and 4s play in the regional divisions where travelling time is usually less than 30 minutes to away games.

Sunday cricket is a mixture of friendly games and T20 matches, mostly home games wherever possible.

Our T20 team play in a cup competition and these games are often played on Fridays or Sundays and tend to be good social events!

We have an active social programme of quizzes, guest speakers and barbeques throughout the season.  Our end of season awards evening is always a highlight of the summer.

We have a proactive strategy to encourage young cricketers to play at a high standard and our First XI regularly contains 5 players under 18. 

All players train together on Tuesday evenings in the summer and as well as a winter programme of indoor nets. Our Head Coach, Navaid Akhtar, is supported in the summer and winter by a number of ECB Level 2/3 coaches.
