Membership Cards
The Clubhouse is now ready to issue you with a personalised swipe card that you can use to pay for drinks and meals etc at the till...provided of course that you have put some money onto the card in the first place. Why would you be interested? Well, James will know who you are, so instead of bringing cash down to the Club and leaving it in the changing room while playing cricket, you can simply bring your card down, or even leave it with him. Then, after the game you can use to pay for your jug to celebrate your fifty or five-fer, simples!
In the longer term, James will be putting up the advertised prices for drinks that will apply to the public, but lower prices will be available to members who pay for them with their swipe cards. So get into the habit now and ask James to issue you with your swipe card, and load it with the first £20. Parents can also secure a card and use to enable your sons or daughters who play for the club to buy their own drinks and snacks, if you tell James this when you obtain it. We are also looking into being able to pay match fees with the card in the future.
