Welcome to our new club coach

New Club Coach

We would like to welcome Riaz Richards, a nationally qualified coach, to the club as our new Head Coach. You'll be hearing and seeing a lot more about Riaz in the coming weeks. He is a professional coach, with experience at national level (South Africa, Morocco), as well as having been the head coach at Sheffield Collegiate Club (Michael Vaughn's home club), where Joe Root of Yorkshire and now England is one of his protogees.

Riaz will be coaching both junior and senior cricketers. His appointment means Berkhamsted CC is the only Club in the area (and, we believe, the County) with its own dedicated professional coach. Riaz will be helping us to set a new standard in the quality and enjoyment of coaching at Berkhamsted. Look out for him at winter nets and say hello!
