Under 9s enjoy successful Chesham Festival

05 Jul 2011

A good day for our Under 9 teams at Chesham on sunday.   The blues managed by Ian Sayle won their group and got through to the main competition, winning the semi final but then coming up against a strong Chesham Lions team in the final and finishing runners up.
Dave Chrispins team lost a close game to the Lions in the group stages so went into the plate where they were victorious in bringing home the trophy. With both teams only losing one game each and to the same side I think we can say honours were even and we can probably say we had the second and third best teams on the day.
