Hi All With the schools about to break up and August soon approaching we would like to make you all aware of one of our most popular evenings at the clubhouse: THE FAMILY CLUB RACE NIGHT The date is Friday 7th August, starting at 7.30pm Everyone is welcome, Nan’s, Kids, Brothers, Sisters, Great Uncles etc etc …. Admission is free, just turn up and enjoy! Food will also be available from our great caterers! And for those who expect to be racing around the outfield, sorry but its all about watching horses on a jumbo screen and trying to shout loud enough to make yours win!!! So cancel your holidays, do not miss this great event!!!!!!!!! And if you’re in the Bahamas then fly back, there’s some cracking last minute deals to be had!!! One of our parents, Steve Tougher will be around over the next few Sundays with a clip board and a pot of change to give you the opportunity of owning a horse on this night for only £5!! Wooooo!! Not only that you can also name the horse …… Tim Buckley last year had ‘Holey Bucket’ but it wasn’t quick enough to beat our head coach Mark Herring’s ‘MyMiddleNameIsEric’!!! And if you’re feeling incredibly generous you can have the prestige of sponsoring a race for only £35!!!! ‘HasHeEverHadA’ Maiden was last years first race!!!! So please look out for Steve on Sundays and more importantly if you are free on the 7th August then come down, join in the fun and have a great night in your Clubhouse. Thanking You All Once Again For Your Magnificent Support Berkhamsted Cricket Club
