7 Aug 2008: The U11 Girls played in a friendly away to Hemel. Berkhamsted won the toss and elected to field first. Hemel put on a revenging 303 with some strong batting losing only two wickets while Berkhamsted kept Hemel off the boundary superbly.

Berkhamsted made a slow start against some tough bowling by Hemel but were soon picking off the runs with some fast thinking runs between the wickets. The innings finished with a good partnership of 16 between Grace and Emily however it was not enough and Berkhamsted closed at 223 runs.

Well done to Emily(C), Emily(W), Amy, Rachel, Hannah, Charlotte, Natasha, Abbi, Grace and Amy(A). For some this was their first ever match!

The weather held out for a great afternoon of cricket for the girls first away game. Thanks to Hemel for a great game and hosting the match.
