Match report Another top of the table clash with 2nd v 3rd and keen to win the toss again. But it was lost and Parkfield opted to chase.

Their bowlers were very tight and kept us under pressure on a very good batting wicket. They did to us what we've done to other sides this season and restricted the runs. Nothing much to be side except that the wickets fell steadily with only Puds showing the class to score off the bowling but nobody prepared to hang around and support him from the lower middle order. He ended up one short of his half century and us on a very under par 157 in the 41st over.

They showed intent from their batting and trialling opening with Martin in partnership with Ethan didn't come off as they hit hard when the ball was anything other then right. In the end they were too strong and showed how many runs were in the pitch unless you bowled perfectly. A few wickets taken - including probably the only stumping that Harry will get when he sent down a leg side delivery to Peter Drury, who was standing up but managed to get pads onto it for the rebound dismissal - but they richly deserved their 7 wicket win.
