Berkhamsted Cricket Club Lost Radlett won by 106 runs

Match report On a beautiful May morning at Cow Roast, our Under 10A team went into their first game of the season missing a few players on football tour and facing one of the strongest sides in the county, Radlett. Radlett batted first and our boys bowled and fielded really well - a big improvement on last season. Max, Matthew and William all took a wicket and Logan Mackie took an excellent catch. Radlett were restricted to a total of 274.

Sadly our batting wasnt a match for radletts formidable bowling attack and throughout our innnings we lost wickets at regular intervals, including several run-outs as a result of poor calling. We finished on 168 runs and with 13 wickets being lost in all it meant that none of the boys finished on positive numbers. We have a lot of work to do in training on the batting skills!
