Match report Day of threatened showers and thunderstorms, after the toss was won the opposition were inserted in the hope of a quick dismissal and chase.

The pitch was still damp from late week rain and the accurate start from Jack and Charlie made runs difficult to come by. The pressure was continued and wickets started to go. Callum and Harry swapped on and continued the good bowling. In the end, the bowling was too good, the fielding tight and we got Northwood Town out for 89, with 4 deserved wickets for Jack and 2 each for the others. Great bowling.

Nick was sent out for a positive start and delivered with 33 off just over 6 overs. That set us off positively and the Lake brothers continued with a positive partnership that pretty well killed the target off. 90 chased down in 20.2 overs. Job done.
