Match report Not a good day. Our batting with the exception of Mike Stone was very poor although Miles showed courage and technique against a very quick bowler who forced the skipper to wear a helmet for the first time in 5 years. Our bowlers didn't bowl badly but opposition batted sensibly and hit every bad ball for 4. Loud disco, bouncy castle with unsupervised little kids running around the boundary in easy range of batters, constant stream of people walking at a snails pace behind bowlers arm and a third umpire barking instructions from the boundary edge all contributed to the experience.
