Tring Park v Berkhamsted Cricket Club U14 A on Tue 17 Jun 2008 at 6:00
Berkhamsted Cricket Club Won

Match report The U14's maintained their 100% record with an easy win away to Tring. The home side won the toss and Berko found themselves in the position of fielding first for the first time this season. Jordan Harrison opened with a wicket in his first over, which set the tone for the innings, with runs hard to come by and wickets falling regularly as the batsmen failed to cope with the swinging ball. As in the last match, the bowlers all returned decent figures, with Ben Beard the pick with 3-10 from his four overs as the home side were bowled out for 69.
Openers Olly Hopkins and Alex Hubbard went out with the words caution from the management team ringing in their ears, urging them to take their time. They didn't seem to take much notice, however, as the runs were knocked off in only 8 overs without losing a wicket. Both played extremely well with Alex narrowly missing out on a half century.
