Match report A very heavy defeat - with possibly the only thing worse than the actual performance being the state of the scorebook - hence the late arrival of this somewhat sketchy scorecard and match report.

whether Mr Atkins might have bowled a few more than 3 overs given his figures will remain open to question for years to come - I would like to think his top score in our innings was some consolation to him, but perhaps 6 wont exactly count as a career best. Well bowled Matt Dight with 2 for 20 off his 9, very tidy.

Our batting effort had some interesting qualities, only 24 off those wooden things that you hold, 2 of our first 3 batters triggered early doors, no-one hitting the lofty heights of double figures and remarkably lasting out 36 overs for 37 runs which is some accomplishment. As ever well done to Peps for getting 11 players on the park but surely this must rank as one of our darkest days.
