Match report Skip lost toss and they elected to bat.

pre-game thought of the day was whether we had enough batting. We had a youthful bowling line up and skip new he shouldn't be required.

A long, hot 51 overs. Wicket was straight up and down and the outfield fast. Everyone bowled well and all of the fielders acquitted themselves well and stuck to their task. Two sharp slip catches dropped of the unfortunate Beard - everything else caught.

Tea was good.

Skip didn't face a ball and was then felled by a deflected thunderbolt from beard whilst umpiring...it still hurts.

We batted very well. Not many 11s have chased down that kind of target for berko, particularly for do few wickets. Everyone batted very well and Harvey finished it off in style - field was up and he raced to 18 in boundaries and avoided the last minute nerves.

Well done all (apart from skip!)
