Match report Last nights game saw us up against a strong Harpenden team. They won the toss and elected to bat. Max took a wicket in the first over with a fine yorker ,unfortunately their batsmen then took control and all our bowlers struggled to contain them. The only other wicket to fall fell to Christian following a good catch from Ed.

At the interval I asked the boys to be positive with their batting and put the bowlers under pressure. To their credit they did this and at one stage Harpenden were a little worried. Despite having Ben run out in the first over some positive batting from George (20) and Dan (13) and then Matt (15no) saw us fall short on a very respectable 106 for 7.

A good batting performance (their coach said it was the first time anyone had scored 100 against them for a long time) we just need to improve our bowling and we can finish the season on a high against Hemel.
