Match report A pleasent Sunday morning and a game of cricket what better way to spend Father's Day.
Elliott and Jack made their A team debuts and as usual Dan lost the toss and Boxmoor asked us to bat. Batting proved difficult and we lost a couple of early wickets after 10 overs we had crawled to 22 for 2. Logan (16) and Dan (16) steadied the ship and some good hitting from Alex (9) and Ed (21no) saw us reach a respectable if not great 83 for 5.

The boys took to the field knowing they would have to bowl and field well if we were to win abd despite a few dropped catches the boys fielded well. Max (4-12-1), Ed (4-20-1) George (2-10-0) and Elliott(3-14-0) bowled well but the pick of the bowlers were our spinners Dan (4-8-2) and Matt (3-9-2), agood runout from Jack and some good work behind the stumps from Callum saw us restrict Boxmoor to 73 for 7 and win a low scoring game by 10 runs
