After a disciplined building of 219 over 45 overs, Langleybury went off like a train, with the openers running the field ragged at better than 6 an over. The first incident then came up when the senior opener had obviously worn himself out a touch and had just finished a requested drink. In trying to puch for a tight 2nd, Romit Patel pinged in a fast, powerful throw and he was gone.

Langleybury were still cruising at 92 for 1 after 15 overs when the 2nd incident took place. The number 3 had a big go at a wide one from Ollie and Sam Harlow dived forward to take a stonker of a catch at mid off.

The number 4 was obviously a quality bat, but by starving him of strike the rest of the order subsided to good quality spin bowling by Patel, Campbell and Antonelli.
