Match report An excellent all round performance from Luke O'Dair inspired the U15's to a reasonably comfortable win and secured their place at the Finals Day for the second successive year.
Batting first Alex Hubbard and Adam Drury got the home side off to a flyer before WGC's bowlers fought back. After the openers fell, Luke and Seb Smith batted calmly and sensibly to put on 57. Luke was cruelly run out going for a quick single which would have given him a deserved half century before a late flurry from Jordan Harrison saw the home side to a highly satisfactory 142-5.
WGC were soon in trouble at 20-2 after 8 overs before a very good partnership of 67 brought them back into the game. However, a Luke O'Dair run out and also 2 wickets from him enabled Berko to cruise home.
