Match report Good close match. After opening burst from Oliver looked like we had this in the bag but excellent 50 from their no 7 set a competitive target. An unfortunate injury to Phill hampered our response but we were always in contention with Hannah holding the innings together with her first 50 in senior cricket - a great achievement at the age of 16! A very useful 23 from her brother Alex left us needing 28 off the last 4 overs. Against good tight bowling this was not easy and despite some frantic running between the wickets we ended up 5 runs short. a valiant effort. Well played everyone and thanks to Ian for skippering in James absence - much appreciated.
