Scorecard

Redbourn v Berkhamsted Cricket Club Under 10 Red on Fri 22 May 2009 at 6pm
Berkhamsted Cricket Club Lost Redbourn won by 120 runs

Match report Berkhamsted captain Ben won the toss and decided to bat. The Redbourn bowling was accurate and their fielding tight, restricting Berkhamsted batsman to very few opportunities and taking regular wickets. Top scorer was Daniel with 11 including two 4's, who' along with Matthew were the only pair not to concede a wicket during their innings. James was the other batsman who hit a boundary in the Berkhamsted innings.

The Redbourn innings started steadily despite James taking a catch at mid-off from one of the Redbourn openers off Jacks bowling. The second batting pair were also restricted by the Berkhamsted bowling attack losing two wickets, Jack taking a catch of Matthew's bowling and the second falling to Ben who clean bowled the Redbourn batsman. Despite good Berkhamsted bowling the Redbourn batsmen steadily increased their scoring rate as the innings progressed, hitting a number of boundaries.

It was a great game enjoyed by all involved.
