Match report We ran out worthy winners today with a very controlled bowling and fielding display together with a great bat by Ben Miles. We won the toss and put them in to bat first. We limited their score to 226 runs and took 7 wickets. Joe took 1 wicket (catch)as did Logan,(bowled) Jack(stumping) and Max(bowled) who was playing for the A team for the first time. We also managed to run out three of their players.

We then thought we would find it easy to beat the run target but this was not to be. Only Logan (8) and Edward (3) got into a positive score of the first 6 batsmen. We were, by the end of the 12th over at 217 for 8 wickets. We should not have worried as Ben and Max came in to bat and very quickly took control of the game. In their allotted 4 overs Ben hit an amazing 30 runs and Max 8. Ben hit 5 fours and Max 1 four to finish our innings at 255 for 8 wickets.
Well done to all the boys.
